Russian Tea

This is a fragrant hot beverage tailor-made for the holidays. The scent of the mulling spices will perfume your house. Enjoy this tangy beverage on a cold winter’s morning when you want something tasty and hot, but don’t want coffee! Makes a great gift from your kitchen also.

• 2 cups white sugar
• 1/4 cup instant tea powder
• 2 cups orange flavored drink mix (e.g. tang)
• 3/4 cup lemon-flavored instant tea powder
• 1 bag Olde Tradition Spice mulling spice

In a large bowl combine the orange drink mix, sugar, lemon-flavored tea. Open bags of Olde Tradition Spice mulling spice and pour contents of bag into bowl. Mix well and store in with air tight container. To serve, put 2 teaspoons of mix in a mug. Stir in 1 cup boiling water. Adjust to taste.
