Spiced Wine
A festive holiday drink when family or friends gather. Great also on a cold or chilly winter evening with family or friends before a roaring fire.
- 4 cups apple cider or apple juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 bottle red wine
- 6 bags of Olde Tradition Spice mulling spice
- Orange zest 4” cinnamon stick and Orange slices for garnish
Heat apple cider or apple juice in a large pan to steamy hot but not boiling. Put in Olde Tradition Spice mulling spice bags and allow to steep for 3 minutes. Stir in honey until dissolved. Add wine. Pour warm drink in wine glass. Add one orange zest to each glass and garnish with one orange slice and cinnamon stick. NOTE: Too much heat will evaporate the spirits and change the flavor of the wine, so be careful.
